Alli Coate is inspired by the colors and textures of fabric and the emotional ties we have to it. She combines traditional illustration techniques with applique and embroidery to create images that feel like home. Alli graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008, and is currently working as a freelance illustrator in Providence, RI.
